Are you struggling with a behavioural issue with your dog? You're not alone! Understanding Canine starts here - a judgement-free, holistic, welfare-first and scientific approach to restoring harmony to your household! These consultations are ideal for helping a dog through: Separation anxiety, fearful/anxiety related behaviours, aggression and reactivity, mouthing/biting issues, resource guarding, destructive behaviours, jumping up, pulling on leash ect. Your qualified and experienced dog behaviour consultant will observe and analyse your dog's behavioural concerns and develop a training plan to address them. You will also be provided with instruction on how to implement the training plan and given the skills you need to give you confidence to handle and manage the behaviour. What's included in your 2 hour session: - History gathering and observation of your dog's behaviour - Education, demonstration and implementation of the training - Handing the training skills to you - A personalised training plan written up for you - For Greyhounds - Work with one of Sydney's most well known Greyhound Behaviour Specialists to resolve your greyhound's behavioural concerns. Monika has worked with hundreds of hounds and works with rescue organisations across NSW, including Greyhound Rescue and Hounds in Homes Monika brings a welfare-first, compassionate and holistic approach as a certified Family Dog Mediator to work with you and your greyhound to restore harmony to your household. Monika is experienced in providing successful resolutions to greyhound resource guarding, separation anxiety, freezing behaviour, dog reactivity and aggression, stranger aggression, anxiety related issues, transition issues, socialisation issues and more. Your greyhound's special needs will be discussed and flexible solutions will be provided that is within your capabilities to implement successfully. Your session will involve the following: - Your greyhound's unique behavioural history being discussed - Monika has extensive knowledge of current industry practise with racing greyhounds - Your greyhound's behaviours that you need help with will be discussed - Monika will discuss recommendations and develop a behaviour plan with you - Monika will teach you the skills you need to implement your behaviour plan successfully - You will have the opportunity to practise those skills with your dog - Monika will email you your written behaviour plan and resources to support you further
